Kenneth J. Weinbrecht, AMS,CMS,ASA,CMI the principal surveyor of Ocean Bay Marine has been active with almost all phases of vessel construction and marine surveying. Our firm is very active in the marine claims process for insurance companies, attorneys and independent boat owners as well.

The firm's owner is an Accredited Charter Member of the Society of Accredited Marine Surveyors – SAMS ® AMS and Certified by the National Association of Marine Surveyors – NAMS, CMS. As an active board member with SAMS® he has served as the President, Secretary Treasurer, Educational Vice President and Northeast Regional Director. SAMS ® is the largest and one of the most respected marine surveying societies in the world. He currently serves on the National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) committee for motor craft safety and is an Accredited Senior Appraiser with the American Society of Appraisers as well as a Certified Marine Investigator with the International Association of Marine Investigators.

Although most of our services are generally in the greater Northeast our firm has inspected vessels from Florida to Maine.
